The government is actively promoting the localization of the rail industry and the upgrading of smart transportation systems. In the future, it will construct multiple intercity and metropolitan rail networks, incorporating new technologies such as automation, digitalization, and AI. During this critical period of transformation, efficient and stable communication technologies and data processing are the core foundation for achieving smart rail transit, meeting the needs of train management, real-time monitoring, and multi-system integration. To accelerate the development of Taiwan's smart rail transportation system, the Taiwan Rail Vehicle Industry Development Association will collaborate with MOXA 404 Technology.
On September 16th, the "Connecting with the World, Shaping the Future – Communication Empowering Smart Rail Development Forum" will be co-hosted at the Sheraton Taipei Hotel. This event will focus on intelligent onboard systems, vehicle-to-ground wireless applications, and rail information security. The forum will also invite MOXA's overseas partners to Taiwan to share European smart rail communication standards and application examples, helping Taiwan's railway industry grasp international trends, strengthen its local communication technology capabilities, accelerate integration with the international rail industry chain, and jointly build a safe, efficient, and sustainable smart rail transit system.
